EDITORIAL INFORMATION
Nine people meet in the park: a painter, a specialist in the
physic sciences, a Germanist lady, an ecologist, a priest, a gardener, a member of
Parliament and two electricians. All of them search for knowledge and self-fulfillment
through the crafts that give birth and nurture our world, through God, the self and also
sexual satisfaction.
The reader takes part in discussions full of emotion on the Arts, Science,
Philosophy, and Religion, enters the world of the voyeur, witnesses the blossoming of a
great love, and lives the tragedy of two women who are murdered, two men who face death
and a third one in dispair.
The author opens the reader's eyes and shows new paths, surpassing the frame
of everyday experience, as he takes a look at the extraordinary, leading the reader to new
fields, up to a new God and fantastic visions. He examines the essential problems of
current humankind from an unusual perspective. Thus the ground for a new human world is
finally established: a new understanding of the world which gives a new meaning to human
life; a realistic, sincere self-comprehension that sets us free.

OUR REVIEW
Professor Otto Kinne, the author of this book,
reflects his scientific background in the novelisation of essential questions we humans so
often ask ourselves. With suitably chosen verses that open and close the novel, he takes
the reader through a voyage that explores the entire universe of the current human beings,
their interests, their essence, the unending search for knowledge about the world and of
the self. This novel is a good read for those readers having a good command of the German
language who wish to reflect on the essence of being human in our world from a novelised
perspective. |
