OUR
REVIEW
The 34th. volume in this
collection, of an annual publication, continues to follow
the path of all the previous ones by making available to
us a series of articles and papers related to astronomy
and astrophysics that have been compiled during the last
12 months. These are exhaustive, thorough papers,
directly aimed at the scientific community. They usually
deal with current aspects, be it according to the latest
discoveries made by the modern measuring devices,
including satellites and huge terrestrial telescopes, or
following some of the multiple research programs
currently being developed all over the world.
Perhaps the most remarkable
trait is the task done by the publishers, whose first
books in the series Annual Reviews (which includes many
other sciences), go back to 1932. With respect to the
series of astronomy and astrophysics, these already are
34 editions serving as a platform to divulge the most
advanced works that our scientists are developing.
